MINT Lift® barbed PDO threads are a Class II medical device and subject to regulation by the US FDA, as well as state and local regulatory agencies. The MINT Product Family consists of polydioxanone (PDO) sutures, indicated for soft tissue approximation where the use of a barbed absorbable suture is appropriate (K130191, K192423). Additionally, these sutures are indicated for use in face suspension surgery to temporarily fixate the cheek subdermis in an elevated position (K220549).
